On 20 September 2024, Lodgis and Fusion Hotel Group join forces to raise VND 200,000,000 in an effort to support communities and victims affected by the recent natural disasters. The funds will be donated directly to Vinacapital Foundation’s Care & Share program which works closely with local government agencies in those heavily affected provinces, offering critical assistance and essential needs such as food, water, shelter, and clothes. The funds also go towards the rebuilding of the local medical system and providing interim mobile clinics to support the needs of the communities.
“With deep sympathy, some of our employees and their families or relatives have been impacted by the Yagi typhoon, our hearts are with them and all of those affected. We have coordinated our efforts during this time of need to support the government in their recovery initiatives. Our support also aligns with our core values of engaging and supporting our local communities and we encourage others to join in our efforts and support those affected by the Yagi Typhoon”, David Roberts – COO of Fusion said.
Since 2018, Lodgis & Fusion have partnered with Vinacapital Foundation in many fundraising events in supporting disadvantaged children and women. In addition, on the developing journey, Fusion’s employees and leaders at its resorts and hotels helped, provided relief, sent essential products, clean drink waters to people in affected areas and clean up the beaches.
